DO I HAVE TO COME TO COURT?

Unless you are needed as a witness due to specific facts or circumstances you will most likely not need to come to court.  Many of our clients have never had to testify at an eviction proceeding to date.

HOW LONG DOES A RESIDENTIAL EVICTION TAKE IN CONNECTICUT?

From start to finish each eviction is different but it can be as quick as 5 days after the service of a Notice to Quit Possession, or approximately 1-3 months from Notice to Quit to Judgment.

WHAT DOES YOUR FEE INCLUDE?

Our flat fee for multi-unit property owners covers just about everything.  Our low cost eviction fee covers costs of the service of the Notice to Quit, Court Entry Fee and service of the complaint on one defendant as well as travel to court for one court appearance and postage fees.   The fee covers Service of the Notice to Quit through Judgment. ****

DO YOU HANDLE COLLECTIONS?

The Law Offices of Geoffrey T. Einhorn LLC has filed collection actions for over 18 years for existing clients against residential tenants who have been evicted.  We more often handle commercial collections but we do service our Landlord clients after the eviction is complete under a different retainer for the collection action.
